So here's the Datto in question, don't mind the broken screen, or rust, or crappy wheels...etc...
...and here's my collection of A engines, 2xA12 & 1 A15!
Up until now my experience with mechanics stuff is pretty limited, so my idea was to buy a digital camera, take pictures of stuff as I pull it apart and practice on one of the disposable A12's first.

 
The ultimate goal is to go from this
To an A15 installed and the car running
Task 1: Strip down an A12...(and put back together again). Then use this experience to service the A15 engine before installation to the 1200. (See the A12 Strip and A12 Reassembly links)
Task 2: Clean up A15 - ready for installation to Datsun 1200 Coupe (see the A15 A14 Prep links) The A14/A15 confusion is resolved in these links
Task 3: Install A15  A14 and start car...(see the A14 Installation Links)
